Korean singer “Heenain” releases the MV to new song ‘You’re A Jerk’

You’re A Jerk not only shows a new side of Heenain, but also how much she’s matured as an artist. I would listen to 1,2,3 over and over, enjoying the uniqueness of Heenain’s voice and the light and airy mood of the instrumental. But now Heenain is taking a darker path, as You’re A Jerk is about a love betrayal after devoting yourself completely to someone. It’s nicely arranged with a lot of thought put into it, which is standard of Neuron releases. Look below for more info + the MV.

That disgustin person, that crappy love, and then those lingering affections, from Heenain’s [You’re A Jerk]

After [1,2,3] [Loving You] and exhibiting her unique, rare voice, Heenain introduces us with a new song [You’re A Jerk] about a dedicated message to an individual for the love that ended from betrayal and wounds. With her husky voice, along with the piano and organ sounds, this Hybrid R&B song is composed by Donnie J who also wrote Ulala Session’s [Dynamite] and Wheesung’s [Music]. Heenain was personally involved in writing the lyrics, making the story much more in depth. She also participated in the cover design as well as the music video, demonstrating her potential and aspect as an artist.

The last single [I’m OK] meets hip hop and recreates into [I’m OK! (feat.Sool J)] featuring the head of Freestyle Town and Korea’s best freestyle MC Sool J, once again giving hopes to those feeling down and miserable. [You’re A Jerk(Orchestra Ver)]is Heenain and Orchestra arranger, Choi Min’s collaboration. Heenain herself plays the piano over the beautiful orchestra flow of the melody to bring much more touching and sincerity than the original.
