Taiwanese singer Yen-J has released his newest music video, Celebrity’s Love!
So far this is my favorite Mandopop track of the year. There have been a lot of good Mandopop songs in the past, but Yen-J‘s newest single stands out from the rest. Celebrity’s Love tells the story of celebrities and how love affects their life. Yen-J explains what love means to a star, and how reporters can easily twist an idol’s words on the subject in order to create a good story.? The song’s jazzy feel is awesome, and I love how Yen-J breaks out into mini rap sessions throughout.
It’s nice to see a Taiwanese idol create a song that’s so personal; the fact that it’s catchy is a bonus.
