FANTASTIC NEWS!
LV’s creative director Nicolas Ghesquière has worked with Square Enix and Tetsuya Nomura to make FINAL FANTASY XIII’s Lightning the spokes model for Louis Vuitton’s S/S 2016 Series 4 collection! This marks the second time FINAL FANTASY XIII characters, in specifically Lightning, were “cast” as models for a fashion brand, the first being back in 2012 for Prada.
Lighting models some of LV’s signature looks and handbags while maintaining her identity with flashing action poses and fierce gazes. This is so exciting for me! I love seeing FINAL FANTASY make its way into other mediums because it just shows how large of an influence the franchise has! It has and always will be my favorite video game series- there’s so much to gain from FINAL FANTASY! Check out the official promo material, including the video, below!
