Too bad there’s no proper MV!
Baauer‘s Temple features those cliche “traditional Asian instruments” but actually does them justice, making the GD and M.I.A. combo legit instead of another Asian trope i.e. ASIAN INSTRUMENTS SO WE NEED ASIAN ARTISTS CAUSE ASIAN. I can barely hear the lyrics with how loud the instrumental is but I think that’s the point- the bass is supposed to make your heart rumble in your chest and shit. It would’ve been SICKKKK to have an MV that actually had GD and M.I.A. in it though… just imagine how much they could’ve done with this visually!
