Can you believe this song is 11 YEARS OLD ALREADY?!?! Man, times flies by soo fast! Almost too fast!
Hikaru Utada‘s Passion/Sanctuary was released back in 2005 and was the theme song to smash hit video game Kingdom Hearts 2, a series that put Utada on the U.S. map and gained her hundreds of thousands of American fans. I honestly think the song’s MV is one of her best visually, from that beautiful opening animation to the elaborate costume designs and scenery that show throughout (great editing, too!). The song is fantastic in both its English and Japanese versions, but I definitely prefer the original Japanese.
