China’s rap superwoman drops her latest!
So with the recent news of China banning Hip Hop, shit is about to change majorly. Right when China’s most popular rappers were getting that mainstream attention Chinese government decides to halt its progress, deeming the genre immoral and corrupt. Looks like Chinese Hip Hop will go back to being an underground thing, but that’s not to say it’s lost its strong following.
VAVA‘s new music video is short but sweet, her effortless sexiness apparent from start to finish. Curious to see what rappers like her will do with this turn of events. Someone like VAVA will continue rapping of course, but maybe she’ll also explore fashion a bit more. Wish the video was longer, but I think this was an endorsement so its briefness (and the song’s slight cheesiness lol) makes sense!
