Chinese singer “Jade Liu” releases her newest music video, ‘Journey’
What surprised me about Journey was the fact that it has a heavy Country influence, which is pretty uncommon for Cpop music. It’s not just the music either, but Jade Liu‘s vocals are very reminiscent of a country singer’s. I like how Journey has so much Western influence but still keeps a distinct Cpop sound (largely due to the Mandarin lyrics), and it was that fact that made me like the song so much. Listen below.
