The Girl and The Robots always blend original melody and personal flavor flawlessly in their covers. They have an undeniable talent for music and I really, really want to see them live.
New Order‘s 1985 single The Perfect Kiss is one that some consider timeless, having a groove that can easily be danced to in today’s world. The Girl and The Robots have put a bit of their own flare on the track, creating something that not only retains the song’s original timelessness but validates that they, too, can live on for decades.
It’s just great music. Plain and simple.
