Chinese-American superstar Wang Lee Hom releases the music video to his new single, Open Fire
I really like the MV concept for Open Fire. It’s ancient China with a modern twist, having a few action scenes mixed in to make it seem like a classic martial arts film. I haven’t really seen that done in a music video before, so it was definitely fun to watch. As far as the song goes… I don’t like it that much. The instrumental doesn’t hit its mark; I can hear what they were trying to do with the “ancient china” themed beat, but to me it just didn’t work. Not only that, but the effects added to Wang Lee Hom‘s voice are kind of annoying.
With that being said, I’m interested in hearing what you all think.
