“2PM” continue their successful Japanese promotions with their new single, ‘Ultra Lover’

Though Ultra Lover‘s similarity to 2PM‘s previous Japanese releases doesn’t really matter in the grand scheme of things, it kind of prevented Ultra Lover from catching my eye like I’m Your Man and Take Off did. The set of the video seemed to be more for aesthetic purposes, with there being no definite story behind anything, and the choreography was nearly void of Taec Yeon. In short I felt the music video was incomplete, though this isn’t the fault of 2PM but more their management.

Regardless the song is catchy and the boys show off their manly and playful sides, something they’ve grown known for both in Korea and Japan.
