Korean singer “Ailee” releases her first official single and MV ‘Heaven’
I think this is my favorite debut from an artist. It’s not standard by any means and really gives insight as to who Ailee is as a person. Heaven is a song in which she expresses God is always with her, and that’s she’s never truly alone. The music video shows Ailee relaxing in her apartment until she meets someone new, a special someone who may be the match for her. There’s a lot of figurative imagery that I really enjoyed and Ailee’s passion towards her faith is very admirable. An artist’s debut is supposed to show the world who they are and what they’re capable of, and Ailee did that flawlessly.
