Apollo 18 ?are coming to?cities?in your country! Don’t miss your chance to see Krock live!

You guys are seriously lucky. Apollo 18 is?one of Korea’s biggest indie Rock bands, and their kick ass Post-Hardcore/Rock sound has earned them tons of recognition around the globe in just four short years after their formation. These guys won Rookie of the Year at the 2010 Korean Music Awards, played at SXSW here in the States, the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan and even in the Beastie Rock Festival in Taiwan. MTV Iggy also spotlighted them in their Artist of the Week segment back in March. Apollo 18 are obviously doing something right, and all of you lucky Canadians get to see them live and in action very soon. Like this month soon. This is what you can expect:

This September, Apollo 18 will be performing at the Pop Montreal music festival and are also playing in Ontario, so hopefully you all can make it out to some of these dates (don’t forget to let me know how the shows were!).

September 19 Hamilton, Ontario @ This Ain’t Hollywood
September 20 Ottawa, Ontario @ Zaphod Beeblebrox
September 21 Montreal, Quebec @ Quai des Brumes (Pop Montreal)
September 22 Toronto, Ontario @ Bovine Sex Club

Apollo 18 are one of the first bands I’d recommend to any new listener trying to get into the Korean rock scene. They have an electrifying stage presence with music that blares from the depths of their Rock ‘n’ Roll souls. I’m jealous of anyone going to see them play- I know it’s going to be a party. Check below to watch the exotic and mysterious music video for Orbis!
