It’s nice to see them back!
I’m very neutral about this release. It’s good as far as Pop songs go with a nice throwback sound and tons of female empowerment imagery, but from a purely auditory standpoint it’s not my cup of tea. The drama and flare of the release is reminiscent of Christina Aguilera, so if you like that kind of energy I think you’ll like I’ll Be Yours. GIRL’S DAY are still sticking to the sexy woman concept as that’s what made them blow up, but I’d be lying if I said I didn’t kind of miss their innocent era.
