Blast off with From The Airport in 2015 with their highly anticipated 1st album release!
Synthesizing vibrant beats with pulsating vocals and edgy guitar riffs, guitarist Milo and DJ/producer Zee are the superfly co-pilots of Korea’s jetset electro rock duo, From The Airport. Blazing into the new year, From The Airport released their 1st full length album “You Could Imagine” on January 9, 2015, taking you on a auditory adventure with dazzling soundscapes and positive messages.
The team formed in 2012 with the mission to create powerful music for the world to enjoy. Garnering attention from UK media’s, The Guardian, their debut single was listed as one of the top new international releases for February 2013. Two months later, their 3rd single “Timelines” knocked Grammy Award winners, Daft Punk, from the #1 spot on the Indie Shuffle chart. From The Airport continued to make its own wave attracting new fans from music festivals, CMJ Music Marathon 2014 and Culture Collide 2014.
The new album, “You Could Imagine” demonstrates a new depth and maturity to this duo’s sound. The album carries two title tracks, “Sight” and “Flying Walls.” “Sight” lifts you to new heights with upbeat melodies and soaring guitar riffs, putting the stars before your eyes and freeing you from life’s chains. “Flying Walls” is a testament to this combo’s mettle as producers. Capturing both despair and hope, “Flying Walls” can find the pit you are stuck in and dig you out with its euphonious chorus and encouraging lyrics.
“You Could Imagine” is From The Airport‘s opening statement for 2015, so grab it on iTunes and Google Play. You can also check them out on Spotify, Deezer, Rdio, and other streaming services, so if you’re looking for the freshest sounds out of South Korea, give Gangnam Style a rest and take off with From The Airport.
