Asian-American emcee ‘Phlip’ releases the music video to his new original, See You Tonight
It’s been a minute since I’ve heard from Phlip, so it’s good to see him back with a new original. See You Tonight tells the story of a struggling relationship, how he and his girl are going through hardships that he wishes they could resolve by simply talking. The soft instrumental definitely works well with Phlip’s deep and meaningful lyrics, which is something I’ve grown to expect from him as an emcee. Songs filled with personal experience are what create memorable music; Phlip is giving listeners something real they can relate to.
