Listen to snippets of FINAL FANTASY X HD Remaster’s newly rearranged songs!
FINAL FANTASY has some of the most beautifully composed music I’ve heard in modern time, and with the HD Remasters of FINAL FANTASY X and X-2 being right around the corner we’re starting to get some snippets of the new songs. Masashi Hamauzu was one of the original composers for FINAL FANTASY X, and he’s returned to the title to rearrange 60 of the 91 tracks from the game. I’ll include the 3 videos released below, but the one that really made me want to share this news with you all is the Besaid Island rearrangement (the video that stars Lulu). The original is beautiful on it’s own, but this rearranged version brings a wonderful new dimension to the song. FINAL FANTASY X is my favorite game in the franchise, and It’s very sentimental and personal to me. To see so much time and care going into this remaster means a lot to every fan- Square Enix realizes the special bond we have with this title and are making sure to protect it’s original charm. Enjoy the Besaid Island, Spira Unplugged and Yuna’s Theme rearranged song snippets below, and if you haven’t played FINAL FANTASY X I very much recommend it- the remaster will be available March 18th 2014 in North America and March 21st in Europe!
P.S. These games were originally for the PS2, now remastered for PS3 and PS Vita.
