Had me super confused for a second!
At first I was like “Whoa, this looks like a Japanese MV…,” and once I saw the name of the actress or whoever that is appear on screen I was like “Ahhh yup, okay so that’s the concept.” I don’t think I’ve ever seen a Korean artist take on such a heavy Japanese style before. Japan has such a distinct way they shoot their music videos and films, it being a type of cinematography that’s uniquely there’s and recognizable immediately. I’m very excited to see how this plays out, especially considering that ZICO is a rapper and usually Rap isn’t paired with visuals like these. It Was Love will come out on the 25th, looking forward to seeing how all of this comes together!
