Overcome is this R&B, Trap, Electronic hybrid that is giving me LIFE. So many genres were blended together in this to make the ultimate, trendy bump. Pledis was like “ya’ll gon’ find something to like about this track” lmao, ALL CONTEMPORARY MUSIC BASES ARE COVERED! The video is cool and everyone looks purty, but I’m mostly enjoying the audio- can’t stress enough how golden that instrumental is. Its off-kilter intensity is exactly what I was hoping we’d get in the full release.
I’m lowkey laughing at this comeback’s description though, “they have upgraded their looks to perfection, like they popped right out of an anime”. Anime?? Really??? Lmao~ Check out NU’EST‘s Overcome from their new mini album Q is below!
