This was really nice. YOMYOMF has released MEI as the next installment in their THE SHORT LIST series, a series where short films are spotlighted followed by an interview with their creator. First released in 2007, MEI is a sweet story about heartbreak, dreams and love, and how being selfless is the best way to show how much you care, despite how much it may hurt.
The story of a shy young man who has fallen in love with the daughter of a noodle stand owner in the night markets of Taiwan’s capital city. From director Arvin Chen (AU REVOIR TAIPEI).
