I’m in such a state right now. Utada Hikaru has released the music video to 2 Hour Vacation from her upcoming 6th album Fantôme, featuring the beautiful Ringo Sheena. Michi, the lead single from the album, has also been released, it being reportedly the only upbeat song on the record. Regardless of the tempo the lyrics are bitter-sweet and an honest look at Utada’s current emotional state. Honestly too deep within my feels to write coherently about these releases. Some things are just better left felt than spoken.
Fantôme will be released September 28th.
